Still a lot of things missing... outdoor at night, or day? Sidelines, or nosebleed seats? Really fast action (soccer, football, basketball), or more predictable and slower, like baseball?

If you don't need a D300, then drop right on down to the D60 and have at it. The lens choice is going to depend greatly on the answers to those questions above... though the 70-200 f/2.8 VR is always at the top of any sports list.

If you are fairly close to the action, you might be best served with something like the 85mm f/1.8, a short telephoto on the D60, with a very fast aperture. As you get further away from the action, the more it costs to keep those high shutter speeds... (G) For nosebleed seats, a little longer reach like the Sigma 120-400 or the Nikon 80-400 VR may be in order.

Seriously, you could walk into the store and just grab the 1st camera off the rack. The body isn't the difficult part. It's matching the lens or lenses for what you intend to do with the camera that is the hard (and expensive) part.
References :
Uhhhh. . . .Think before basketball, baseball and all these popular sports, what were they doing? Playing outside and making up games on their own.
References :
CWB is Connelly Skis, which is a reputable brand. Liquid Force is considered a better brand as well. I prefer Hyperlite myself. Check out evogear and grizzlysports on ebay for good deals and reliable sellers. grizzly accepts almost any reasonable offer, Up to 35% depending on the item. Another good site is boardersmall.com. For the best deals look for 07 closeouts. If you want a well known, but more expensive dealer, buywake.com is a good place to go.
References :
The Venta air purifier is very quiet, and seems to be an effective humidifier judging by the amount of water it takes to maintain the water level during the colder months when my forced air heating system has dried out the house. I like the fact that there are no ?filters?. There is an impressive amount of collected debris that the machine has removed from the air at the time of the two week fluid changing, so I know it has been doing its job. So, if you want to combine humidity with air cleaning, and don?t mind filling the machine with water once a day, I would recommend the Venta.
Pro : Very quiet, no filters to replace, effective.
Con : water must be added daily

If it is the contagious form, then you shouldn't play any contact sports which could spread it to others. Just the activity is not a problem, but keep your eye protected from the elements when you are outside.
References :
RN

REI is not publicly traded, like you said. It is however, a Cooperative, which means that it is owned by the public and governed by a board of directors elected by the public. any person that shops with REI can become a member, and as such with a Co-op, participates in a profit share. So REI isn't publicly traded, but it is a Co-op and excels at business because of our members.
References :
I work for REI.

u need to study fashion in high school and most high schools have 3 years of it and then at the end you get a certificate for it. same thing in college look for courses that involve business, fashion design, industry, and other thing that would have to do involving mass production. And then after that you might want to start making shirts with a pretty mainstream name. like those you listed above. finding the rite name might be pretty hard though. spend a while making a pretty cool looking logo for your shirts too. if you talk to local board shops that also sell apparell, then you could ask them if they could consider buying your shirts. once they buy your shirts, you can go to local skateparks to look for skaters that would maybe like to be sponsored by you. give them free shirts and stuff like that maybe a lil cash too. enter them in competitions and say you want some of their prize $. may sound like an ass thing to do, but hey, it works.
