When do the beaches and water sports open in Myrtle Beach SC??

We are planning a trip to Myrtle Beach SC mid-April for a wedding….will the beaches and Water Sports be open? Like jet ski rental, parasailing, etc? I’m assuming things like that are open for Spring Break and both K-12 and college spring breaks will have passed by then. I’ve checked the visitors bureau and I’m finding nothing!! Please help!

I remember being told that the water parks open sometime in April. The beaches are open but the water is colder.
And the New Hard Rock Park does not open til June.

    Sorry but you won’t find much happening in Myrtle Beach until after Memorial Day. Or sometimes the week before. Water is still way too cold in April for water sports. Not much going on except a lot of golfing~!

    Check http://www.myrtlebeachonline.com its the on line verson of the town news paper. There are lots of links for the tourist type stuff. Hard rock park opens in May if you plan on comeing back, the weather ought to be fine by then.
